Asheville Downtown Tasting Tour – Asheville’s Downtown Tasting Tour is a spirited and delicious way to explore the city! You’ll enjoy substantial bites and sips on this guided walking tour, sampling savory and sweet favorites, some paired with small drink pairings. This tour visits Asheville’s hidden gems, including eclectic restaurants and bars, and specialty food stores. You’ll also learn about the history of the city, the architecture, and the incredible culinary scene from your tour guide. By the end of this tour, you will feel like a local!

Please note: The tour ends away from where it starts, so please be prepared to walk or uber back if you are driving and parking. Most guests will find the amount of food to be enough for a full meal, while others will want to continue the fun to one of Asheville’s outstanding restaurants.

Tours meet outside The Times Bar & Coffee Shop, 56 Patton Ave., Asheville, NC 28801.

Parking can be challenging in Asheville. Please give plenty of time to park and arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour time. There are some small hills on our downtown walk.

Tours run rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is around 2 miles. Tour runs 3 to 3.5 hours.

Please don’t be late! Meet the group 10-15 minutes prior to your tour time so that we can arrive at the restaurants promptly.

Bring a government-issued ID if you plan on drinking alcohol.

Register in advance. If you are trying to register for a tour the morning of and registration has closed, please call (919) 237-2254 to check availability. Sorry, no exchanges or refunds. If we have to cancel the tour due to extreme weather, we will refund your money.
