2. Why I love leading tours? I love meeting new people, showing off my favorite restaurants and making sure everyone has a good time.
3. Favorite food/drink? I have an eternal love affair with pizza.

Nikki wasn’t born in North Carolina, but she was bred here. Lots of bread, she eats it all of the time. When she is not leading tours for Taste Carolina, she writes about her life as a professional chef, foodie, local and regional restaurant trends, food organizations, food producers and everything culinary on her blog, Nik Snacks.

She is a classically trained chef who has worked in every part of the food industry from catering manager and pastry chef to butcher and biscuit-maker. Presently, she has a casual dining column in the Greensboro News & Record and you may see her on the WFMY-2 Good Morning Show whipping up something good to eat.
