Nick Cook

1. What tours do I lead? Durham!
2. Why I love leading tours? I believe that one of the best ways to explore a city’s culture is through its food. I also love interacting with guests, hearing their stories, and getting a good walk in downtown.
3. Favorite food/drink? Cuban food! And a good IPA.

Nick is originally from Houston, Texas, but grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has always had a passion for great food and great conversation and is especially proud of his Puerto Rican/Cuban roots and the fresh, bold flavors in the food his abuela (grandmother) cooks. In addition to working as a Taste Carolina tour guide, Nick is a graphic designer/illustrator and full-time graduate student at Elon University working on his master’s in Interactive Media. Nick moved to Durham with his girlfriend in 2016 and loves calling Bull City home.
