What tours do I lead?  I lead tours in Wilmington!

Why do I love leading tours?  I’m a very social person who loves to eat, drink, talk, walk, laugh, explore and meet new people! I get the opportunity to incorporate all these aspects while sharing the food culture of Wilmington’s historic, quaint and friendly downtown. I also see these tours as a great way to discover some awesome eating and drinking establishments you might want to patronize if you’re visiting town, or to frequent if you’re a local.

Favorite Food/Drink? This is a nearly impossible decision for me to make. If I had to narrow it down, I’d pick pizza, tacos and cocktails that feature mezcal.

I have lived or worked in NYC and the surrounding areas most of my life. I moved here a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the beautiful nearby beaches and the downtown area of Wilmington. My background is in the building envelope restoration engineering field, and I love the historic architecture that defines our downtown. I also work as a part-time admin for the Aphasia Recovery Connection – an award-wining nonprofit dedicated to ending the isolation surrounding aphasia, a language disorder that impacts about 2,000,000 Americans. I am grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in this meaningful work, but I really love the absolute blast I have taking people on food tours of Wilmington! I tell my husband that my feet don’t hit the ground for about 2 hours after the tour is over!
