1. What tours I lead? Durham!
2. Why I love leading tours? History and food are two of my favorite things in life. Hosting tours for allows me to share and inspire that passion with others. I think it’s really important to be involved in your community and help those that live here and those visiting here get a taste of that community spirit which we are able to accomplish (literally) with these tours.
3. Favorite food/drink? This can change, although I am always in the mood for a glass (or two) of red wine or Rose and pizza or Latin American cuisine.

I am a native North Carolinian (a very rare breed these days) who grew up in Durham. It brings me a lot of joy to show off how far Durham has come in the last 10 years. I attended Durham School of the Arts for middle school and high school, then moved to Raleigh where I attended NC State University majoring in Political Science and Spanish. My day job has consisted of recruiting and account management (having little to do with my degree), however recently I have decided to switch gears and start a career in software technology. When I’m not at work or taking people around the amazing food scene in Downtown Durham, I like to hang out with my friends (at restaurants/music/movie events in Raleigh or Durham), take care of my 2 cats (Boo and Sulley), travel, and read.
